Nurse Practitioner

The State University of New York at Oswego is accepting applications for the position of Nurse Practitioner at Walker Health Center.  This person will be responsible for providing direct primary care to a diverse student population.  The successful candidate must have a desire to work with college students and must be a confident, self-directed professional who will contribute to the medical team in this AAAHC accredited college health center.

Required Qualifications:  Current NYS RN license; three years RN experience; NYS certification or certification eligibility as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner; Bachelor's Degree; eligible prescriptive authority; current CPR certification; Board certification or Board eligibility as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner.

Preferred qualifications:  MS in nursing and two years NP experience in primary care; DEA certificate; NPI number.

The mission of the Walker Health Center is to assist students in meeting their academic goals.  Consultation with other members of the campus community is integral to this position.
