The Department of Technology at the State University of New York at Oswego announces an opening for a tenure track Assistant Professor position.
Review Date: Review of applications will begin on October 15, 2012, and will continue until the position is filled.
Salary: Commensurate with rank and experience.

Description of Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Teach laboratory courses in areas that may include construction technologies, materials technologies, sustainable energy technologies, and technology management depending on the candidate's technical area(s) of expertise.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate professional technology management courses. Supervise technology management internship and co-op placements.
- Provide leadership with developing and delivering technology programs that promote STEM integration, global awareness, sustainability, and diversity.
- Assume responsibilities for laboratory management.
- Initiate, develop, and participate in business, industry, and college partnerships.
- Provide academic advisement for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Participate in department, school, and college service.
- Commit to research and scholarship in Technology Management.
Required Qualifications:
- MS in Technology Education, Technology Management or a closely related field with significant technology management experience in manufacturing or facilities design and management.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students.
- Demonstrated commitment to preparing students for multicultural and global communities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. from an accredited university in Technology Education, Technology Management, or a closely related field.
- Leadership experience in technology management.
- Postsecondary teaching experience.
