The School of Business at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications for an MBA Director.

Description of Responsibilities: The MBA Director, reporting to the Dean and working with the Department Chairs and faculty of the School of Business, will administer the MBA programs. Primary responsibility includes program recruitment, course scheduling, student advisement, career development, and alumni relations. This is an opportunity to join the leadership team at the School of Business and help enhance graduate enrollment, expand multicultural and international initiatives and engage the School in regional economic development. The MBA Director will have a presence both on the Oswego campus and at the Syracuse Metro Center in Clinton Square.
Required Qualifications: We seek individuals with a graduate degree from an accredited institution; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with a variety of constituencies including prospective and matriculated students, faculty and administrators, alumni, and employers.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience of academic program administration, international student recruitment, knowledge of standards to maintain AACSB accreditation and associated compliance procedures, an MBA or business related graduate degree.

Description of the School: The School of Business offers a full-time residential MBA program on campus, a part-time program at the Syracuse Metro Center, an online MBA and five-year combined programs in Accounting, Broadcasting and Psychology. The MBA program has been featured in every edition of the Princeton Review's guide to best business schools since the annual series began. In 2009, the MBA program was one of 15 schools featured in Princeton Review's "Student Opinion Honors for Business Schools" in the accounting category. The part-time MBA was ranked by U.S. News and World Report in 2012. The school also offers baccalaureate degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Risk Management and Insurance, Operations Management, and Marketing. Oswego's School of Business is AACSB-accredited and serves approximately 1400 undergraduate and 120 graduate students.
