Experience-Based Education
The Office of Experience-Based Education at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications for a ten month, half-time (20 hours per week), Assistant Director position.

Description of Responsibilities: Teach two sections of an online undergraduate Career Awareness course; conduct internship orientation workshop sessions; meet with students individually to explore internship options; answer questions and review program requirements; coordinate internship outreach with academic departments; enhance student recruitment and outreach programs on campus; build collaborative programs with other departments and programs and undertake special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have completed a Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, education, or social work. At least one year of full-time prior college teaching or college administrative experience in a college environment is required. Candidates must be able to work well with college students, document teaching success at the college level (e.g., career courses), and be able to help students determine eligibility for internships and identify potential placements. Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective writing, data analysis and data management skills, communication, and organization skills.

The office serves students from all majors and provides opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students interested in earning academic credit for internships.
