Job Description:
SUNY Oswego's College Foundation, Inc. is seeking applicants for the position of Advancement Services Administrative Associate. This position works as part of the Advancement Services team to support the work of SUNY Oswego's Development and Alumni Relations departments. The Advancement Services Administrative Associate will report to the Director of Advancement Services.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Office manager for Advancement Services and Development including ordering supplies and inventory, answering phones and opening mail
- Prepare correspondence
- Manage Gift Acknowledgement program
- Act as point person for all visitors and incoming calls
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Windows 7, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Superior organizational skills including the ability to multi-task and prioritize while paying attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work with a team to accomplish project goals effectively
- Ability to manage sensitive information appropriately
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- An Associates or Bachelor's degree
- Development experience, preferably in higher education
- Strong knowledge of office procedures
