SUNY Oswego is seeking applications for a Plant Utilities Assistant.  This is a competitive class civil service position.  The successful candidate will have to pass the civil service test when offered, and be reachable for appointment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

One year or more satisfactory hands on experience in the operations and maintenance of boiler and/or auxiliary equipment or HVAC equipment in commercial, industrial or institutional facilities (not residential) or,

 High School diploma or GED and completion of four trades courses in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC or boiler operation & maintenance or,

Completion of 12 college credit hours in related trades.

Starting salary effective 4/3/08 is $30,483.  Attractive New York State benefits package.
