The Department of History at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications for a full-time, one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Early Modern European History (1400-1700).
Review Date: Review of applications will begin on April 1st and will continue until the position is filled.
Salary: Commensurate with rank and experience.
Date of Appointment: August 2008
Description of Responsibilities: The successful candidate should be prepared to teach sections of the West and the World (HIS 100 The West and the World to 1500) and upper division courses in the arrear of the candidate’s expertise.
Required Qualifications: ABD in early modern European history.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in history.
