Minutes Campus Concept Committee

July 29, 2004

In attendance:  Huonker, Camp, King, Hill, Varhus, DeSantis, Rule,
Belt, Friday, Graci, Mayo, Beck.

DeSantis update the CCC on the Campus Center project, the Sheldon West
Wing design status.

Information on ICCIT was distributed by Varhus and a summary of the SoE
Program study was distributed by DeSantis.

A discussion ensued concerning what  must be addressed by the CCC based
on logistics for the next 5-year capital plan (currently unbudgeted). 
Items 1-5 below reflect the planned work of the CCC for 2004-2005.

CCC Agenda Items 2004-2005 (revised during the 7/29 CCC meeting)

   1. Concept/Location of ICCIT
   2. Concept/Location Professional Development Center
   3. Consideration of the 3-building complex (Lanigan, Library, Hewitt)
      [from the earlier list this includes: future of Hewitt, campus
      spine, recital space, graphics location, CELT location, sun quad
      and more]
   4. Campus Classroom Policies Review (what was used in Rich, and
      Swetman).  S. Camp will copy info from S-P renovation report
      School of Education Program Study.

   5. The Sciences Program

Fall meeting times were explored.  Camp will canvas the list to
determine best meeting time with Wednesday at 3:00 being a very possible
choice.

The next meeting of CCC will probably be during the 3^rd week of Fall
classes.

ICCIT folks will be invited.
