DEFINITIONS OF TERMS RELATED TO SWETMAN-POUCHER RENOVATION PROJECTS:

Academic Commons- Non-assigned informal gathering spaces for students, faculty and staff distributed throughout the building.

Educational Planning Center - Includes academic services (Advisement Center, Experienced Based Education, Career Services, First Year Programs, Volunteer Services, Service Learning) collected in the central upper level of Swetman.

Teaching & Learning Initiatives - Interdisciplinary Studies Center, Honors Program, Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) and General Education.

Academic Facilities - Traditional and smart classrooms, faculty and department office, meeting and seminar rooms.

Academic Support Services - Office of Learning Services (OLS), Disabled Student Services, Continuing education, International Education, Computer Labs.
