Minutes for 4/22/02

1. Project Updates – Bid dates have been set for early May for the Mahar elevator rehab and Phase 1 of Enhanced M&R project which includes the Mahar lobby and Computer Sciences corridor in Snygg.
   
   
2. Discussion of the Arts and Sciences proposal was tabled.
   
   
3. Discussion of the format for input into the architectural design of projects focused on the method to be used to insure program integration in the central campus which will include several projects.
• It was decided that the design coordination process should include Representation from Interdisciplinary programs (3), Humanities (3) and Student Services (3) as well as some people who can represent the "core" Ideas of the academic commons and a representative from Information Technology.
• Dave Hill and Craig Gracie will recommend academic names, Jim Scharfenburger ed planning center names and Mary Schoeler tech name. Jerry DeSantis and Dave King will convene a meeting with them to Introduce them to the process.
