Purpose of SCAC
- Promote and encourage scholarly and creative activity and research at SUNY Oswego including enhancement of the climate, resources, opportunity and recognition of faculty, staff and students conducting scholarly, creative and research activities and grant development.
- Assist the Director of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) and act as an advisory committee for this office.
- Advise the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research on matters of research.
- Advise the President and Provost in matters relating to scholarly and creative activity and assist them in the process of rewarding the scholarly and creative activity and research of faculty, staff and students.
