SPIN
SPIN is a database of Sponsored Funding Opportunities offered by InfoEd Global. There are 2 ways to access SPIN funding database.
1. The easiest method is to access SPIN at https://spin.infoedglobal.com/ from an on-campus computer. This allows anonymous access and allows for any of the three search methods, basic, InfoEd Keyword and Advanced without a logon.
2. The second method is authenticated access by creating a user name and password. You can still search using any or all of the 3 search methods and will be able to save searches or activate SMARTS. SMARTS sends returned opportunities from saved search criteria to users' inboxes on a daily or weekly basis. However, in order to create a profile you must be using an on-campus computer and follow the instructions below. If you are off-campus and not connected to SUNY Oswego's network, please email julie.marte@oswego.edu or maria.nakamura@oswego.edu with your request.
To sign up for an account:
- Go to https://spin.infoedglobal.com from an on-campus computer
- Click on the Sign In link along the top right of the page
- Choose Need to create a new profile
- Fill out the Create Profile form
- Click Save
- A message will appear that your information has been send to the institution's SPIN administrator and you will be notified once your request has been approved.
- Once validated you will then be able to sign into SPIN for added functionality and remote access (24 hours after validation). Sign in at the SPIN home page in the upper right hand corner. https://spin.infoedglobal.com/
