Successful human-computer interaction professionals understand both computer
systems and the capabilities of the people using those systems. By encompassing
courses in computer science, psychology and other disciplines such as graphic
design, Oswego's interdisciplinary master's degree program provides students
with the background needed to meet the challenge of designing computer hardware
and software that is functional, efficient and gratifying to use. Graduates
pursue careers in human-computer interaction, interactive design, usability
engineering and user experience engineering.
