Arms & Sleepers is an electronic duo from Boston. American Royalty is a psych-pop trio from Brooklyn. Guitarist Gianni Paci is a recent graduate of New York University and is influenced by Buddy Holly and The Beatles. Any student may elect to take the waiver exam for Computer & Information Literacy that is given at least once a semester. No student may take a waiver exam more than once.
Students can have the General Education writing requirement waived if they take and pass the writing waiver exam. Eligibility for this exam is determined by the English Department (which also administers and grades the exam). Any student who wishes to take the exam should contact the English Department to discuss the requisite scores on the Regents Exam and/or SAT Verbal.
COMPUTER & INFORMATION LITERACY WAIVER EXAM (2 parts)
The waiver exam consists of two parts, (Part 1) an assessment of your computer literacy and (Part 2) an evaluation of your information literacy. For more information call the Computer Science Department at 312-2367 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Part 1 COMPUTER LITERACY
Date: August 24, 2014
Place: 122 Shineman Center
Part 1 of the exam is for new and returning students who have not previously taken the exam. To register for Part 1, email your name, ID#, and major to email@example.com
NOTE: Student ID is required at the time of the exam.
Exam results are available through the Computer Sciences Department.
Part 2 INFORMATION LITERACY (two hour Library Instruction course)
Part 2 of the exam is only open to students who pass Part 1.
The Library workshop is available online in ANGEL. Students wishing to enroll in the online option (via ANGEL), email firstname.lastname@example.org, by 4:00pm, Friday, September 5, 2014. Include your full name and Oswego ID number. The deadline for completing the workshop online is Friday, September 12, 2014.
You must complete and pass both Parts I and II to receive the waiver.
MATH PROFICIENCY EXAM FOR CHILDHOOD EDUCATION MAJORS
