General Education courses provide a well-rounded education with a broad knowledge base. Students receiving an Oswego degree explore a great depth and breadth of courses that establish effective written and oral communication, raise global awareness, explain the modern world's literary and artistic underpinnings, instill awareness of modern technology, and cultivate an ability to comprehend and analyze complex issues.
General Education classes reflect SUNY-wide requirements but often interest students in areas they had never even considered as minors or second majors.
Our General Education site serves as a resource for more information on course and graduation requirements.
