Getting to the Waterman Theatre / Tyler Box Office

The scenic SUNY Oswego campus is located just 35 miles northwest of Syracuse and 92 miles east of Rochester on the southern shores of Lake Ontario, just west of the small city of Oswego. Oswego is located at the very end of Route 481 North

Traveling from:
Points North: Take I-81 south to exit 34, Route 104 west. Follow Route 104 west through Oswego to the campus, located just past the city.

Points East: Take I-90 (New York State Thruway) west to exit 34A (vicinity of Syracuse). Proceed north on Route 481 through Fulton to Route 104 in Oswego. Follow Route 104 west through Oswego to the campus, located just past the city.

Points South: Take I-81 north to exit 16A (Syracuse). Proceed north on Route 481 through Fulton to Route 104 in Oswego. Follow Route 104 west to the campus, located just past the city.

Points West: Take I-90 (New York State Thruway) east to Exit 40 (Weedsport). Travel north on Route 34 to 104, then east (right) on 104 to the campus which will be just shy of Oswego.

The majority of Oswego ARTS performances are located in Tyler Hall, conveniently located with easy access on the SUNY Oswego campus.Customers may parkin Lot E-6 (Culkin Hall) or Lot E-18 for evening performances. If you are coming to the box office during business hours, please use the 45 minute parking area located in Lot E-18 by Hewitt Union and Hart Hall (see campus map to right). The majority of the OSWEGO ARTS (ARTSwego, Theatre, and other performances are held in Tyler Hall, Specifically in the Waterman Theatre. The majority of the ke-nekt Chamber Music Series concerts are held in Sheldon Ballroom.

Opened in 1968, Charlotte Waterman Theatre has a proscenium stage and continental-style seating for 525. Please reference the chart (below) when making your seat reservations. Waterman Theatre is located in Tyler Hall. Turn into the main entrance of the campus from Route 104. Parking is available at the circle in front of Culkin Hall. Tyler Hall is immediately on your left in the building with mosaic tile on the front.

Handicap Accessibility

A handicapped seating area was built this summer.  Patrons who wish to reserve the handicapped area should call the Kelly Cullinan at 312-3097.
