Kathleen S. Evans is the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs as well as Director of Student Advisement located in the COMPASS. She is responsible for overseeing advisement functions at the COMPASS and also for supervising the Coordinator of Disability Services. Jacqueline Campbell is an Assistant Director of Advisement.  She develops, implements, and assesses programs that will support first year students in their transition to college.  She is also responsible for coordinating the advisement of all first year and transfer students as part of their new student orientation.  Jackie holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from SUNY Oswego.  She started her employment with SUNY Oswego in 2004.  Prior to joining the Student Advisement staff, Jackie served as Residence Hall Director of Johnson Hall, home of the First Year Residential Experience (FYRE) program.  She can be contacted at jcampbe1@oswego.edu or by phone at 315-312-2241.

Nathan Emmons is an Assistant Director of Advisement.  He is responsible for coordinating our orientation and TRANSFERmation programs.  Nate also serves as the Interim Coordinator of the Johnson Hall First Year Residential Experience. Stephanie Guynn is the Keyboard Specialist 1 for our office. She is responsible for producing all our office correspondence, managing a variety of databases, maintaining files and – in general – keeping the entire department organized! Christy Huynh is an Assistant Director of Advisement.  She is responsible for coordinating advisement for undeclared students.  She holds a BA from SUNY Oswego and anticipates completing her Masters in Counseling, Student Affairs track in the near future.  Christy started at Oswego in December 2002 as the Coordinator for the Center for Service Learning and Community Service and joined the Student Advisement Center in June 2007. Cindy Jackson is the Agency Program Aide for our office and serves as Office Manager.  She oversees agency accounts, publications, website and database management and provides program assistance for New Student Orientation, First-Year Programs and Undeclared Advisement.  Cindy has a BA and has completed 36 graduate credit hours from SUNY Oswego.  She worked on campus from 1983-1993 and returned again in 1996.  Cindy can be reached at cjackson@oswego.edu or by calling 315-312-2241.

In addition to the full-time staff mentioned above, the Student Advisement Center also employs undergraduate student workers, graduate assistants, and other professional staff in order to provide a wide range of services to the students, faculty and other staff here at SUNY Oswego.
