Thank you for visiting the OLS website. Please be aware that our website is currently under construction. If you are unable to locate the information you are looking for, please contact our main office

On behalf of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) at SUNY Oswego, we want to congratulate you on your acceptance to our institution.  As a student accepted through the EOP program, you are required to participate in our mandatory 4-week summer program, which will take place from July 2, 2011 through July 30, 2011.

We will be hosting a "Meet & Greet" event for all incoming freshmen and their families to review the EOP program and answers any questions.  For downstate students, we will be hosting an event at the SUNY Maritime (click here for directions) on both Friday June 3rd  from 6-8pm and Saturday June 4th from 10am-12pm.  Please plan to attend one date that best fits your schedule.  For Upstate students, we will be hosting  an event at our SUNY Oswego Metro Center (click here for directions) on Saturday June 11th from 10am-12pm.  Our desire is that all students and their families attend one of these events to gain a clear understanding of how our program operates, its benefits and opportunities, and our expectations.

As stated in your acceptance letter,  your admission to SUNY Oswego is contingent upon your successful completion of the mandatory 4-week summer program.

All summer program participants will be housed in Funnelle Hall, a SUNY Oswego Residence Hall.  Please refer to the Residence Life and Housing website to learn more about campus living and your residence hall (http://www.oswego.edu/student/residential).  Your meals, housing, and books will be provided.  You should plan on having some spending money for personal expenses.

Please be sure to access both the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) and Documents/Forms links.  Here you will find additional information about the Summer Program, including forms that you must complete and mail with due dates and a checklist to help you track their completion.

As part of our EOP Summer Program, you will participate in SUNY Oswego's Summer Orientation during the month of July.  You do not need to register for this.  Your Summer Orientation will take place on either July 12 and 19 depending on your placement test results.

If you have any further questions about the summer program, please call the EOP office at (315) 312-3094.

We look forward to meeting you in June and are excited to have you as part of our Educational Opportunity Program.
