Welcome to the EOP Summer Program page at SUNY Oswego.  At this site you will find information that is designed to assist you in preparing for your new journey.  If you find you need more information, please give us a call (315-312-3094) and we will be happy to assist you!
*All students should arrive on campus by 1pm on July 1st*
 
Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Summer Program
July 1, 2012 - Opening Day Schedule 
7:30am NYC Bus departure to Oswego
11:00am Last shuttle leaves Regional Transportation Center from Syracuse
1:00pm Arrival on Campus (move into Hart Hall)
2:00pm - 2:45pm Parent Session with staff/Tours with Peer Leaders and/or Academic Planning Counselors
3:00pm - 3:45pm Welcome Reception w/ light refreshments
3:45pm - 4:30pm Parent Session with staff/Tours with Peer Leaders and/or Academic Planning Counselors
4:30pm BBQ picnic
7:00pm - 8:00pm Student Meeting with EOP staff

 Important Reminders!   

1. As a new SUNY Oswego student, you are required to register for Orientation and submit a number of official documents to the college before arriving on campus.  Please refer to the New Student Welcome booklet you received from the college and complete the 6-step process.

* As part of our EOP Summer Program, you will participate in the July 2nd and 3rd Orientation at the College.  When you get to Step #6, you are required to select July 2nd and 3rd option and you should follow the directions given to complete your Orientation registration. 

This process must be completed before you arrive on campus on July 1st.

2. Parent Participation in Orientation - Parents, guardians, and other family members are encouraged to participate in Orientation if possible.  As part of our EOP program, we will have a welcome reception with students and their guests (parents, guardians, etc.) on Sunday July 1st at 3pm.  We encourage you to consider staying overnight and participating in the Orientation process on Monday July 2nd.  *Registration must be completed for parents and guardians when you register yourself for Orientation.
