Rice Creek Story Hour
Tales of nature, animals’ wild ways and how people relate to the natural world. Designed for elementary-aged children, though all are welcome. SUNY Oswego's Rice Creek Field Station offers Story Hour in support of SUNY's partnership with the Read Aloud 15 Minutes national initiative. Students Kaline Mulvihill and Kaitlin Provost will present their work on research they are doing for Arvind Diddi at Quest 2011, April 13. Their scholarly study is "News Media Bias in the 2008 Presidential Race and Framing of the Iraq War Issue."
Marissa Hill discusses how she earned a Student Scholarly and Creative Activities Grant and the interdisciplinary book project it allowed her to complete. She will present on this subject at Quest on April 13.
