Peer Education Opportunities

Students helping students is the focus of Oswego's peer education opportunities. The Oswego Peer Education Network serves as an umbrella for 11 programs across campus that offer assistance, promote general wellness and cultivate decision-making skills. Peer educators may address such topics as career advisement, sexual health, leadership and other areas that support a positive social and educational environment at SUNY Oswego.

Students complete a national Peer Educators Certification program and additional training within their chosen area. Peer educators benefit from both gaining experience and the immense satisfaction that comes from helping their fellow students.

The LifeStyles Center offers further information on peer education opportunities, programs and training.
