Internship Workshop Information
Experience-Based Education offers Internship Workshops weekly as well as online. The internship workshop introduces students to our Internship Programs and describes all of the steps needed to earn academic credit. Our workshops will put you on track for finding your internship and will help you determine the type of credit you would like to earn. Attending an internship workshop in person will allow you to ask questions on "anything internships". It is sometimes difficult to know where to begin and one of our workshops is sure to get you started!
We strongly advise students to attend a workshop at their earliest convenience in order to have the best chance of securing a placement. Internships are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Fall 2012 Internship Workshop Schedule:
Workshops are held in room 145 of the Campus Center unless otherwise noted. No appointment is necessary, attend at a time convenient for you! Find the schedule here.
Online workshops can be viewed here.
Angel workshops can be completed at your convenience. Students who choose to participate in a workshop via Angel can come into the office to explore internship opportunities or pick up a learning agreeement if they have already secured an internship. Use the instructions below to complete an internship workshop via Angel.
Attendance at an orientation workshop either in person or via Angel is a required part of the internship process. You should attend a workshop at least one semester prior to the desired internship experience.
