Adopt-A-Grandparent
Adopt-A-Grandparent Program connects students with senior adults in the community through programs and activities such as crafts, games, talent shows, volleyball and holiday parties. Each week students visit a local nursing home and have the opportunity to spend time with residents talking, sharing stories and participating in the planned activity. To participate contact adoptagp@gmail.com. Students are required to complete an application. Limited space is available and students are required to sign up at least two days in advance. Transportation is provided.
