Make a Difference Day 2005: a National Day of Volunteering

SUNY Oswego students were part of the 3 million people nationwide who participated in the largest day of helping, Make-A-Difference Day 2005. On Saturday, October 22 sixty-four students volunteered at 8 unique sites in the community, providing close to 300 hours of service on a single day. Students volunteered at the Salvation Army, Ladies Home, Camp Hollis, Backstreet Books, Literacy Volunteers, Best Kept Secret, Head Start and The Oswego County Health Fair.
