Rice Creek Field Station

Since 1983, Exploring Nature has been an education program designed to encourage young people's curiosity and concern about their world. Participants explore and investigate life around Rice Creek while discovering nature first hand through nature walks, activities and games.

I deeply regret to announce that the 2012 Exploring Nature sessions have been cancelled.

However, we are very excited to share the reasons. Rice Creek Field Station will be the site of a new building. The area of the facility will be a construction zone for about one year beginning this spring. While it will be sad to say goodbye to the building that has served the campus and community for so long and so well, we look forward to a new energy efficient building.
