The herbarium at the field station consists of over 2500 sheets representing general collections from the northeastern United States including vouchers for 492 of the 724 species of bryophytes and vascular plants which have been recorded from the field station properties as of November, 2007. The ornithological collection has over 1900 skins representing about 200 species and the mammal skin collection has over 1200 specimens of about 150 species. Fish, amphibian, reptile and insect collections represent many local species. Work has been initiated to develop computer databases to record the contents of these collections and to develop species lists and other records concerning the flora and fauna of the field station properties.
