What is Mentor-Scholar:
Mentor-Scholar is an academic and social mentoring program that partners SUNY Oswego undergraduates and Oswego Middle School students through the academic year. Mentoring pairs meet biweekly in the hour after school to work on homework and general academics while addressing social issues and having fun. SUNY Oswego students participate in a two credit hour GST 302 course through the fall and spring semesters addressing issues on mentoring, poverty and adolescent growth in the context of youth programming.
