Are you looking for an opportunity to take the first step in college
leadership? Get a taste of college life and start to make a difference from
your very first semester on campus, with the Sheldon Leaders, the First-Year
Leadership Experience!
Students earn three credits while making use of leadership skills gained in
high school or at work. First year students will participate in Leadership in
Action, a course designed to sharpen existing leadership skills, transforming
them into important tools for college and beyond. Students will develop a
personal philosophy of leadership, learn social responsibility, enhance
communication skills, and create an appreciation for social diversity.
Become involved and help make a difference in your community through the
Sheldon Leaders Program.
