Gateway Courses
Have you already declared your major and are you looking for more information about your choice? Then get a jump start with a Gateway course!
We offer Gateway courses in several majors including business, music, art, journalism, theatre, English, communications and several of the sciences. Enrolled students will gain an understanding of the career field and acquire the basic learning and professional skills necessary to succeed in the field. Going from high school to college is a big move and these Gateway courses help make that important transition successful. When you receive your FirstChoice packet in the summer and follow instructions to choose your FirstChoice course, you will be made aware of any Gateway courses in your major
