Comm-Unity is a Living and Learning Community that offers you the opportunity to live with other Communication, Public Relations, and Broadcasting majors, all while completing your core department requirements. COM 210 is your FirstChoice course, which will help you bring the communication skills and knowledge you learn in this block of courses together, as you learn the best way to organize your thoughts and present your ideas in public. Who better to practice those speeches with than your fellow living and learning classmates? CMA 100, Arts and Ideas, is an introductory course that will give students the opportunity to attend a variety of fine and performing arts events and reflect on those experiences with their classmates. COM 100 is a broad overview of the field of communication, and introduces students to the "non-media" side of the department, including interpersonal, group, organizational, rhetorical and computer-mediated communication.
*Note: For Communications, Broadcasting and Public Relations majors only.
COM 210: Public Speaking
COM 100: Foundations of Communication
