Creative Arts

SUNY Oswego offers many opportunities for students to explore or enhance their artistic abilities and creativity. Whatever their major, students can become involved on stage or behind the scenes with theatre productions, take part in musical performances or exhibit works at selected Tyler Art Gallery events.

Special events throughout the year offer additional outlets for student creativity. The annual New Voices competition stages six one-act plays written by students. Women Aloud presents performances and readings while raising money for women's studies scholarships. Quest, the college's symposium on scholarly and creative pursuits, showcases works from all disciplines and programs.

Students also can display their creative skills through campus media outlets or express themselves through our more than 100 registered student organizations.
