Focus the Nation
Spring 2009 SUNY Oswego The office of Civic Engagement is planning One Hundred Days of Awareness. The main issue of these events will be global climate change. More information will follow.
Powershift 2009
Feb. 27th - March 2nd The Office of Civic Engagement is sending students to Powershift 2009 this coming spring. The event will take place in Washington, D.C. and will focus on advocacy training for Global Climate Change.
Graduation Pledge Alliance

We need people to take on this initiative (students and/or faculty). The pledge operates at three levels: students making choices about their employment; schools educating about values and citizenship rather than only knowledge and skills; and the workplace and society being concerned about more than just the bottom line.
