Irina Muresanu, a world-class Romanian violinist, performs sonatas with pianist Robert Auler. Muresanu has achieved top honors in numerous violin competitions and was the winner of the Pro Musicis International Award and the Arthur Foote Award from the Harvard Musical Association. She recently soloed with the Boston Pops, the Boston Philharmonic, the Miami Symphony Orchestra, the Syracuse Symphony, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (Geneva) and others. Muresanu currently serves on both the faculties of the Boston Conservatory and the Music Department at MIT.
