This year, the “and more” of the Jazz Guitar Festival meant more learning with more instruction and hotter concerts.

There was a buzz of energy from the morning on through and even the dull weather didn't deter the spirits of those who came to absorb, learn, and grow. From the first cup of coffee to the last taste of Mike Stern's blazing guitar mastery, those who came had much to discuss and be in awe of.

Three amazing, and diverse, concerts from flamenco extraordinaire Dennis Koster , the eclectic and mesmerizing Rez Abbasi Quartet, and the  phenomenal  Mike Stern Trio punctuated the day for what was the best Jazz Guitar Festival yet.

We're taking a year off so that we may bring you and even bigger, badder, and more intensively cool Jazz Guitar Festival in 2008 so stay tuned!
