Fall Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibiiton
The Art Department requires candidates for the degrees of Bachelor of Fine Arts to exhibit a representation of their work in Tyler Art Gallery. The public is invited to view work produced by students with a focus in either Graphic Design or Studio Arts. The quality and variety of painting, photography, graphic design, ceramics and other media exemplify the high standards established at SUNY Oswego.
Fall Masters of Arts Thesis Exhibition
The Art Department requires candidates for the degree of Master of Arts to exhibit a representation of their work in Tyler Art Gallery. Every year these graduate students display examples of graphic design, painting, photography, ceramics and other studio media. The variety and quality of the work exemplify the high standards established at SUNY Oswego. This year’s exhibition will feature work by graphic design majors Kacie Haynes and Charlie Doughty.

Special appearance by SUNY Oswego Gospel Choir
This Grammy Award-winning a cappella ensemble is steeped in the sacred music of the black church, the clarion calls of the civil rights movement and songs about the struggle for justice. With stunning vocal prowess, the singers of Sweet Honey in the Rock capture the sounds of blues, spirituals, traditional gospel hymns, rap, reggae, African chants, hip-hop, lullabies and jazz improvisation.
TICKETS: Adults $15; seniors/students $12 and SUNY Oswego students $7.

Enter without fear, no harm will be done to you. Cornelia Somers has an extraordinary experience when her family moves to St. Michaels-on-the-Lake. She meets Violet Jenkins, a girl whose parents will not let her rest. Cornelia and Violet create a world that many of the adults around them can barely comprehend. A family’s mourning and a child’s spirited dreams coexist in this play inspired by a Grimm fairy tale and a real-life event in Oswego circa 1900 with period music performed by the State Singers.

CONCERT: Festival Chorus w/ Syracuse University Brass Ensemble
St. Mary’s Church, 103 West 7th Street, Oswego
Oswego Festival Chorus and Syracuse University Brass Ensemble perform a wide variety of seasonal music, including John Rutter’s Gloria, as well as traditional carols.
DONATION REQUESTED: Please bring a canned or boxed food donation for the local food pantry.
