Images of the Galapagos Islands are backdrop to Grammy Award-winning composer Richard Einhorn’s newest work. Textures of world music, exotic vocal technique and contemporary instrumentation reflect extraordinary and stunning patterns within the diversity of life. Renowned vocal ensemble Kitka is joined by soprano Jacqueline Horner, tenor Todd Graber and bass Eric Johnson. Many will remember Einhorn’s moving Voices of Light: The Passion of Joan of Arc performed at SUNY Oswego in 2004.
“Like all great ideas, Darwin’s theory of natural selection has the power to inspire...” —Richard Einhorn
