"Enter without fear,
no harm will be done to you."
Cornelia Somers has an extraordinary experience when her family moves to St.
Michaels-on-the-Lake. She meets Violet Jenkins, a girl whose parents will not
let her rest. Cornelia and Violet create a world that many of the adults around
them can barely comprehend. A family’s mourning and a child’s spirited dreams
coexist in this play inspired by a Grimm fairy tale and a real-life event in
Oswego circa 1900 with period music performed by the State Singers.
