Arms & Sleepers is an electronic duo from Boston. American Royalty is a psych-pop trio from Brooklyn. Guitarist Gianni Paci is a recent graduate of New York University and is influenced by Buddy Holly and The Beatles. NSF S-STEM (Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
This program provides scholarships and close mentoring during the first two years of a student's STEM major at SUNY Oswego. In addition students' are offered the opportunity to take part in cutting edge research opportunities both at Oswego and abroad.
Possibility Scholarship aims to help students from NEW York State who otherwise would not be able to afford pursuing degrees in science and technology fields. The program provides support for tuition, room and board, as well as hands-on research and international service learning.
NACME's (National Action Council on Minorities in Engineering) STEM Integration Model SUNY Oswego has partnered with the National Action Council on Minorities in Engineering to award scholarships to increase enrollment in engineering fields for students from underrepresented groups. Scholarships are available for fall 2013.
SUNY Oswego has joined a group of prestigious universities that offers scholarships through WACE, an organization that is committed to advancing cooperative education. Incoming freshman for fall 2013 who commit to a co-op program at SUNY Oswego and qualify as Presidential Scholars are eligible to apply.
The NOYCE scholarship provides funds to support talented STEM students and professionals in pursuing teaching careers in a science, technology, engineering, or math field. The scholarship recipient receives support to aid in completion of their STEM undergraduate degree and their Masters of Education degree.
$18,800 Presidential Scholarships ($4,700 annually for up to four years; $2,350 for students living off-campus)
$6,000 Deans' Scholarships ($1,500 annually for up to four years)
$3,000 Merit Scholarships ($750 annually for up to four years)
$31,960 Residential Scholarships; ($7,990 annually for up to four years) Out of State, US Residents only; Requires Full-Time Status and On-Campus Housing (fall 2012 term)
$1,000 Merit Scholarships for transfer students (non-renewable)
