Indie concert: Arms & Sleepers, American Royalty and Gianni Paci
Arms & Sleepers is an electronic duo from Boston. American Royalty is a psych-pop trio from Brooklyn. Guitarist Gianni Paci is a recent graduate of New York University and is influenced by Buddy Holly and The Beatles. Counseling and Psychological Services Student Travel Grants - $50 to $150. Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Grants are for travel to scholarly conferences to present research results from projects related to study in Counseling and Psychological Services curriculum. Contact your Counseling and Psychological Services professor for details.
Rice Creek Field Station Small Grants - $500 to $3,000. Applications are due in March (dates vary; see Rice Creek Field Station website). Grants fund SUNY Oswego faculty and students projects as well as non-affiliated individuals doing research at the field station. Guidelines and application form are available at the Rice Creek Field Station website when posted.
Student Scholarly and Creative Activity Grants - up to $1,000. Applications are due the first Monday in November. Grants are for student research projects working under the guidance of faculty sponsors.
Student Travel grants - up to $250. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Grants are for travel to scholarly conferences to present research results. Apply online with the R.I.S.E. office in Campus Center. Travel grants are dispersed as reimbursement.
Student-faculty Challenge Grants - $4,000 allotment to faculty engaged in summer research to pay stipends to student assistants. Applications due second Monday in February. Scholarly and creative projects that will culminate in peer-reviewed output or be presented to a public audience receive priority.
