Self-Study

College re-accreditation occurs every 10 years, and SUNY Oswego is very involved in the next re-accreditation of the college by the Middle State Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Higher Education.

The process begins with a comprehensive self-study of the institution, which the campus Middle States Steering Committee undertook in 2010. The re-accreditation process includes the self-study and an external review, scheduled for spring 2012. The entire process will help evaluate SUNY Oswego's progress over the past 10 years and will inform plans for the future.
