Mark Levy, a 1986 SUNY Oswego, is the vice president and creative director for NBC Sports and its Olympics coverage. The 15-time Emmy Award winner oversees the on-air broadcast look for
both divisions.
His role also involves the supervision of NBC's
Olympic Documentary Film and Profiles Unit and the management of all
production and editorial functions of NBC's Stamford-based
HD production facility, and its development arm, The Edison Project. He
is currently in pre-production for his seventh Olympic Games in Vancouver
this coming February.
Levy has spent nearly two decades bringing sports to a wide variety of viewers, starting as a production assistant for ESPN's NHL coverage. The avid golfer also spent several years working for PGA Golf Productions, with duties that included producing the "Inside the PGA Tour" feature.
