As a Facebook account director, Matty de Castro's role is to educate the broader marketing community on the benefits of
social marketing specifically related to Facebook as well as build long-term
strategic systems for brands and agencies.
Prior to joining Facebook, he worked at Arkadium where we has VP for business development. De Castro was responsible for
designing innovative brand/gaming/media programs for Fortune 100 companies.
Prior to joining Arkadium, he was an account executive at IAC Advertising
Solutions, where he created marketing-based initiatives for
Ticketmaster.com, Citysearch.com, Match.com, and Evite.com.
De Castro holds a bachelor's in management and finance from the Leeds School of Business at the University of
Colorado, Boulder.
