Paul Condolora

Paul CondoloraSUNY Oswego alumnus Paul Condolora '82 is senior vice president and general manager for Cartoon Network New Media.

Condolora's duties include developing new Cartoon Network and Adult Swim-branded products and services for burgeoning distribution platforms such as broadband, video on demand, wireless and interactive television. He works on sales and marketing strategies with the Turner Network Sales New Media division. He also oversees creative development and day-to-day operations for four industry-leading Websites under Cartoon Network New Media: CartoonNetwork.com, ToonamiJetstream.com, Awesomehouseparty.com and CartoonNetworkYa.com (the Spanish-language site for kids). These are some of the most popular entertainment sites in the world for kids, currently attracting an average of more than 6 million unique users each month in the U.S. The top attraction is their roster of games, which drew more than 2 billion game plays in 2006.

A Syracuse native, Condolora came to Cartoon Network Online in 2000 as vice president of business development from Sony Pictures Imageworks in Los Angeles, where he was the head of the Multimedia Department. In this capacity, Condolora supervised more than 20 projects, many award-winning, including visual effects for feature films and television shows, Internet games and promotional Web sites. He has also managed the U.S-based software development for Sony's AIBO entertainment robot.

Prior to his role at Imageworks, Condolora was the director of special projects for Sony Pictures Entertainment, focusing on business development. Condolora began his entertainment career as a member of Columbia Pictures Management Associates Program.

After graduating from SUNY Oswego, Condolora earned his Master's Degree in Entertainment Management from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Additionally, he is a former independent filmmaker and a Certified Public Accountant in New York state.
