The University
Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJGSU), established in 1911 is a public university located in the northeastern region of Hangzhou. "Zhejiang" is the province in which ZJGSU is located and "Gongshang" is the combination of two Chinese words meaning "business and technology." The university, with a student population of 21,000 has two campuses. The Xiasha campus is located in the northeastern section of Hangzhou City, bordering the Qiantang River and the Jiao gong Lu Campus (Old Campus) is located in the city centre of Hangzhou, about a ten-minute drive from the scenic and historic West Lake.
The Program
Students will attend the MGT 470 course in the morning and in the afternoon will participate in the spoken English Promotion Project (SEPP) as English teaching assistants at ZJGSU. Students who are accepted to participate in the Spoken English Promotion Project (SEPP) will speak and interact with Chinese students at ZJGSU, in English, about topics of mutual interest. Students are expected to participate for four sessions/hours per weekday in the afternoon and/or evening during their stay in ZJGSU. The program includes pick up upon arrival, Chinese culture and language / business course in the the morning, meals, accommodation in a double room, and local tours in Hangzhou during weekends.

Housing and Meals
ZJGSU plans to house students in shared double rooms at the Guest House on the Xiasha Campus. Most meals are included.
