The University
The new Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) was established on May 27th, 2000. The university is a conglomerate of the former Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan Transportation University and Wuhan Automotive Polytechnic University. The university has a student population of 45,000 and has two main campuses situated at Mafagnshan and Yujiatou in Wuchang with a third campus currently under construction.
The Program
This program is designed for students who are interested in pursuing courses in Chinese language and culture. Previous knowledge of Chinese is not required to participate in the program.
Students with a sufficient command of Chinese may take courses in a broad area of academic disciplines in the regularly scheduled classes of WUT. A minimum of 12 credit hours must be taken each semester.
Program Dates
- Fall - early September to mid January
- Spring - mid February to late June
