The University                             Wenzhou

Wenzhou University (WZU), founded in 1956, is located in Wenzhou, a beautiful city in the southeast of Zhejiang province. The university has a full-time student population close to 25,000.

The Program

The program is designed to allow students to partake in short-term Chinese language training for a semester. At the end of the training students will receive a "Certificate of Completion" for their efforts. Students with a greater proficiency in Chinese may take courses in other colleges and disciplines at WZU.

Program Dates

  • Fall - early September to mid January
  • Spring - mid February to late June

Housing and Meals

Students live in a modern residence hall for international students and scholars at Wenzhou University (WZU). Students may eat at on-campus facilities for around $5 USD per day . See the program specialist, Ryan Lemon, for more information.
