The University
The University of Tasmania has two main campuses, one in the capital city of Hobart and the other in the northern city of Launceston. The university enjoys an excellent reputation for its school of art, which includes many areas of art and design study. In addition, there is strong community support for both local and international theater, film, fine arts and crafts exhibitions, and musical entertainment. UTAS is also known for its courses in the biological and environmental sciences.

Temporary accommodation is arranged for the students upon their arrival until their permanent housing has been secured.
