International Education and Programs

Germany

Germany is a wealthy country, whose people are generally regarded as hard-working, determined and efficient.  Germany is an industrial power that has also made important contributions to art and culture.  Germany is home to over eighty million people of diverse backgrounds who contribute to Germany's economy and society in both traditional and new ways.  Oktoberfest in Bavaria and Wagner's operas in Bayreuth co-exist with Turkish and Eastern European cultural influences, particularly in Germany's urban centers.  Students studying abroad in Germany will experience the language and culture of an old land immersed in the heart of new Europe.
