Semester Program
Located in the heart of Sydney, the Oswego - CAPA (Centres for Academic Programs Abroad) internship program provides a unique and specialized program for American students who will benefit from Australian professors and Australian oriented courses. Students have the option of attending 4 - 5 classes, as well as the option of participating in a 6 credit hour internship program.
For internships, students will be placed with a local company or organization on a professional team with designated projects and responsibilities on a full-time basis. The Oswego-Sydney internship supervisor will locate a placement in the student’s general area of interest and provide services on a continual basis throughout the session.
Summer Program
This program is a six-credit summer program located in the heart of Sydney. The CAPA (Centers for Academic Programs Abroad) internship program provides an opportunity for students to be placed with a local company or organization on a professional team with designated projects and responsibilities on a full-time basis. The Sydney internship supervisor will locate a placement in the student’s general area of interest and provide services on a continual basis throughout the session. Students take the PELA (Perspectives on Experiential Learning Abroad) class, which includes the internship for a total of six credits.
