Academic exchange students are not seeking a SUNY Oswego degree, and come only from universities with which SUNY Oswego has formal exchange agreements. Estimated semester costs for the fall or spring semester for undergraduate and graduate exchange students:
Financial documentation must also be presented in a format as follows below. Bank statements clearly connected to the student by the account holder may be used in lieu of this financial documentation form. You can download and print a form with these costs to complete and submit to SUNY Oswego.

Total for one semester, payable to SUNY Oswego. Please be prepared to pay this bill within five days of your arrival. You may use credit card, ATM card or check. All checks will take 10 business days to clear.
*Costs and fees subject to change. The following additional costs will appear on your visa application:
- Books can run from $500 to $600 per semester depending upon your course choices.
- Personal spending can run up to $30 per week over a 15-week semester depending upon your personal needs.

To receive your visa application, you will need to show you have a documented amount immediately available of at least US$6,625.00 per semester. No visa application will be sent until that documentation requirement is met.
